Biography – Richard C. Jacobs

Mr. Jacobs is the chief investment officer for The Jacobs Financial Group. He has been a financial planner since 2001. Mr. Jacobs primarily focuses on comprehensive financial planning and fee-based asset management. He is currently registered in the state of Texas and is able to do financial planning and fee-based asset management for clients in most states. Mr. Jacobs was manager of financial planning for the Valve Division of Dresser Industries for fifteen years (1984-2001); financial analyst for Valero Energy (1981-1984); accountant for Bloom Engineering and Motor Coils Mfg. (1970-1981). Mr. Jacobs received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves in 1975. Mr. Jacobs earned a B.S. in Accounting from Penn State University in State College, PA in 1969.

Mr. Jacobs has also published numerous financial articles for local newspapers in the Houston, Texas area.
